You may have already read about Kenneth Cole’s social mistake of using “#cairo” in one of its tweets or Rosetta Stone’s deletion of hundreds of FB wall posts regarding a certain support or 50cents tweet about a penny stock. Do you think social networks and its users will have the power to actually drive down a company’s stock or cause a management shakedown (similar calls for the removal of Groupon founder as CEO after superbowl ads)?
